Buy Handicrafts
There are two things you should take home with you if you pass through Jerez: a cinto piteado (leather belt with embroidery) and some arracadas de filigrana (filigree earrings) in gold or silver. The latter you can find in any of the García jewelers or in the Taller La Reina de París workshop. Look for belts in the Corral, Gordiano, or Escalera leather shops. While you’re there, pay the Alfarería Núñez workshop a visit to buy some ceramics.
Pink quarry stone is also worked in Jerez. Perhaps the best place to go to see it is the Panteón de Dolores, designed by the maestro stonemason Teófilo Pérez.
