If you like silver, we recommend you visit the Centro Platero Artesanal de Zacatecas, located 4 miles from the Historic Center, inside the Ex Hacienda Bernárdez. In this silver handicrafts center you will find jewelry shops and workshops where you can learn about the state’s silversmith work. You can also go to the Casa de las Artesanías, ideal if you would like to buy all kinds of pottery, handicrafts made from cardboard, wood, metal and silver, saddlery, and textiles made by the Huichol people.
