In 1967, the Instituto Politécnico Nacional announced the inauguration of Mexico’s first public planetarium. The polytechnic institution’s facility was much-anticipated, as it promised the opportunity to observe the actual positions of the sun, moon, stars, Milky Way, planets, and other celestial objects easily, just as they would have been seen from any spot on Earth at any time of day or night from 10,000 B.C. to A.D. 15,000.
In the Domo de Inmersión Digital (Digital Immersion Dome), you can see digital projections of stars, galaxies, skies, and stories from astronomy.
