From the moment you arrive, you can feel the ambiance of mysticism, peace, and tranquility. The Carmel Maranathá Prayer House was built by Carmelite nuns in the 1960s. Today, the place acts a sanctuary for meditation and spiritual retreats. The house is open to the general public from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The interior is decorated with religious paintings and sculptures. Its location in the outskirts of Valle means you’ll have to go around the lake to get there.
