The colonial-era ambiance of its houses, churches, and plazas permeates Tequisquiapan. Visit Santa María de la Asunción Church, a neoclassical-style building from the 19th century. Stroll through Miguel Hidalgo Square, La Pila Park (where a watermill and water tank once stood), and Plaza de Armas Main Square. Nearby is the monument marking the country’s geographic center (Monumento al Centro Geográfico del País).
