Cristo Roto Monument

This colossal Cristo Roto (literally translated as “Broken Christ”) is one of the largest monuments in Mexico. Its broken limbs—it is missing an arm and a leg, nor is it mounted on a cross—remind us that this sanctuary is dedicated to the sick, the poor, and those in need. To see it, first get a boat ride across the reservoir from the dock.
