San Felipe Sand Dunes
Duna de las PintasThis landscape of dunes exists thanks to the wind. The breeze blows sand up from the Laguna Salada salt flats and deposits it there, forming everchanging peaks. Visitors are guaranteed a wonderful time, hurtling up and down these sandy peaks on quadbikes, feeling the exhilaration in an off-road race, or trying out the sport of sandboarding.
Duna de las Pintas has served as a set for documentaries and movies, one of which was 007 Quantum of Solace (2008).
