The Estrella de Puebla (translated as “Star of Puebla”) is one of the city’s most visited tourist attractions, making it a place you have to see on your next getaway. The 262-foot high observation wheel—the tallest of its kind in Latin America—is located in one of the city’s most modern areas: Angelópolis. On it, you can see the entire city from above, while you’ll also have unbeatable panoramic views of the Popocatepetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes.
The wheel is best enjoyed at night, with the jumping streams of a playful water fountain next to it. It’s a scene bursting with life as people run through the columns of water that turn on and off and change color in rhythm with the music playing over the speakers.
