Garza Blanc Vineyard

This is a modest vineyard that is just beginning to produce fruit, but its location above the Tunal canyon, in the eastern zone of the Sierra de Arteaga, affords it a spectacular view.

It is located 60 kilometers east of Saltillo along the route that leads from El Tunal to La Jacinta and which, from there, connects to Villa de Santiago, Nuevo León.

The view is incredible: to the north and south are mountains over 10,000-foot-high, covered in coniferous forest. In the distance is the town of El Tunal, at the foot of the Sierra La Nieve, which is also over 10,000 feet above sea level.

Located 8530 foot above sea level, this vineyard has the highest altitude of any Mexico and one of the highest altitudes of any in the world.

The grapevines growing here are Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
