Former Hacienda of Santa María Regla

Built between 1760 and 1780 by don Pedro Romero de Terreros, the Count of Regla, this was the first silver and gold smelting operation estate in this part of the country. It is tucked inside the canyon that starts at the Prismas Basálticos, creating its magnificent setting. Its size and monumental architecture give a glimpse of the arduous work that was carried out here.
