Iguana Conservation Center

In the center of Manzanillo, to one side of the Club de Leones, you will find this conservation center that protects and cares for iguanas. And so, what began four decades ago with two huamúchil trees and a couple of iguanas, is now Ramón Medina Archundia’s pride and joy, containing 550 iguana specimens. It is also home to raccoons, wild boars, ducks, crested caracaras, and badgers.
