Located in the city’s Acapatzingo neighborhood, the Ethnobotanical Garden is famous for being the place where Maximilian I established his vacation home. Today, it houses a delightful botanical garden and museum featuring Mexico’s largest plant collection. There are medicinal and ornamental plants, herbs, flowers, cactuses, and spices. There’s also a museum devoted to spreading the practice of traditional medicine and herbalism.
