La Barca de la Fe Church

The town of José María Morelos Buenavista (17 miles from Tlaxco) harbors this ship of faith—it is an unusual church in the shape of a ship, adorned with pre-Hispanic glyphs, and 16th-century symbols.

Its creators were inspired by the first vessel to land on to our continent: The Saint Mary caravel.

Although unfinished, Sunday mass and other ceremonies are held here. This place will knock your socks off!
