La Ribó, Mexicali’s Wine Shop

Since its opening in 2008, La Ribó has promoted the region’s small winemakers. This is the first shop to sell wines exclusively from Baja California. It showcases all kinds of products made from grapes, puts on presentations, and holds group tastings (reservations necessary). And on top of that, Yolanda, the owner, advises clients. She also works with the Mexicali chapter of Cofradía del Vino de Baja California (Baja California Wine Guild), which puts together a number of events such as the Muestra del Vino (Wine Exhibition) in Mexicali in the end of April.
