Las Gatas Beach

This is one of Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo’s loveliest and most popular beaches. To get here, take a water taxi from the main dock, Muelle Principal, in Zihuatanejo. The round trip costs around $30 to $40 Mexican pesos.

A number of activities are available here, such as snorkeling and enjoying the food at one of the area’s restaurants. Plus, the water at this beach is so clear that you can see the multicolored fish swimming around you.
