Miguel Hidalgo Park
This square sits in the heart of Tecate. Here, people come and go among the trees and stone gazebo that presides over it all.
The park is filled with poplars, palm trees, and laurels. On the southern side is the Town Hall, whose mural depicts Tecate’s founding.
The square is lined by bars, ice cream shops, and comfortable cafés with outdoor tables. In this direction, the park meets the intersection with Miguel Hidalgo street, where Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and the small Santa María de Tecate Station chapel, founded in 1941, stand.
