Highlights

Huatulco National Park

Huatulco National Park’s almost 30 thousand acres encompass five of the nine bays that make up Huatulco: Órgano, Maguey, Cacaluta, Chachacual, and San Agustín. It is also known for sheltering essential ecosystems for conservation, such as mangrove forests and coral reefs, as well as large stretches of dry tropical forest. It has numerous endemic species and around 140 endangered species.

If you are looking for something more adventurous, ask about the tours with expert ornithologists. Some of these go over land to Chachacual and Cacaluta bays (featuring the beach made famous by the movie Y tu mamá también), which are beautiful.
