Tequisquiapan Parish Church
This 19th-century neoclassical church was built in 1874. Each year, people from the surrounding communities come to honor the Virgin of the Assumption on August 15th. Outside the church, people set up stalls selling textiles (needlework, openwork, and embroidery), Otomí dolls, flowerpots, cooking and earthenware, opals, stones and much more.
