Santa María Magdalena Parish Church
This 16th-century church is one of Xico’s most interesting sights. The building boasts fascinating baroque and neoclassical details, and magnificent colonnades with beautiful gardens that will make you want to stop and relax. Inside there are images of Mary and other virgins that flaunt natural hair. The main altarpiece displays a crucified Christ, and at his feet, the sculpture of a reclining Mary Magdalene looking up at him.
