Altavista Petroglyphs

To one side of the Copo volcano you will find the Las Piletas stream, and it is here that you can admire the cosmogony of the Mazatán territory, tribute of the kingdom of Xalisco and Zacualpan. This place is also a Huichol ceremonial center, which is why it is visited by so many national and international tourists. You can still see 56 petroglyphs that display the area’s cultural and archeological importance.
