Sierra La Laguna Biosphere Reserve
Considered one of Baja California Peninsula’s most biodiverse regions, here you will mainly find pine and oak forests alternating with other plant populations, as well as semi-desert areas and smaller areas with lowland rainforests. The area extends across a wide expanse of territory, the majority of which is a large mountain range. The region is populated by a great variety of animal species, among which reptiles and birds dominate, as well as some endemic species and a variety of small mammals.
