Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe
Erected on the slopes of a large hill in the middle of the last century, the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Guadalupe faces towards the plaza. The church’s striking and beautiful facade is made of limestone and has two towers, echoing European gothic cathedrals. Inside, the gold-leafed altarpiece is well-worth a closer look, as well as the image of the patron saint and the frescoes on its walls.
