Workshop of Olivero García
Taller de Olivero GarcíaGoing as far back as his great-grandfather, all the men in this family have learned to make use of traditional looms, the kind operated with foot pedals, to weave cotton threads together. The threads used by Olivero at his workshop are first dyed in a barrel with boiling water and sodium sulfide, then left to dry in the sun. The majority of his shawls have black and white designs, and are sent to Uriangato or Zamora.
