Traditional Mayan Solar

The traditional Mayan solar is a large stretch of land used for a number of domestic activities, growing crops, raising backyard animals, and there are even spaces set aside for various productive activities. In the front is the house, and on the sides are other spaces such as the traditional kitchen garden, the ka’anché, which is closest to the kitchen.
