Xochicalco

Located just 24 miles from Tequesquitengo, this archeological site is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Inside the grounds, you’ll find a museum displaying artifacts and information about the civilization that inhabited the pre-Hispanic city. The architectural structures consist of a Mesoamerican ballcourt and an astronomical observatory. At night, there’s a light and sound show.
