Zipolite Beach

Two miles west of Puerto Ángel is this beach with big surf and intense underwater currents. Zipolite became famous in the 70s, when hippies came to enjoy Mexico’s only nudist beach.

These days, it is a favorite among backpackers. In addition to its beautiful scenery, there is everything you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
