Tancama Archeological Site

Tancama archeological site (8.1 miles) was a pre-Hispanic settlement consisting of three squares at three different heights, emulating a hill. It was at the height of its splendor from 700 to 900 CE. Burials denoting the site’s ceremonial and astronomical nature have been found here.
