The promotion of music conserves, creates, and transmits culture, for the benefit of society. It strengthens the appreciation of and respect for the arts, encouraging knowledge of musical culture. Come to the Sala Principal de Conciertos de Tlaqná (Tlaqná Main Concert Hall), a place that since 2013 has been the home of the symphonic orchestra, Orquesta Sinfónica de Xalapa, accompanying the concerts that take place on the Universidad Veracruzana campus.
On Fridays there are concerts! Consult the calendar for in-person events, because symphonic music is making a comeback.
