Built and adapted by the architect Manuel Ibarra Legarreta in September 1973, the facility was re-inaugurated on July 18, 1998. Ever since, it has hosted plays, musical presentations, dance events, variety shows, children’s performances, festivals, movies, conferences, and governmental reports.
