One of the most emblematic nature reserves on the coast of Oaxaca is Lagunas de Chacahua. The park is composed of the Bahía (bay) and Laguna de Chacahua (lagoon) and the Tianguisto and Pastoría lagoons. It was declared a National Park on July 9, 1937.
Lovely lagoons stretching through mangrove forests will give visitors a feeling of peace and tranquility.
