El Camaleón Golf Course

El Camaleón is a renowned golf course, considered a masterpiece for its distinctive design by Greg Norman, an iconic figure in the golfing world for his style and contribution to the sport, both as a player and golf course designer. 

Greg Norman, an Australian, is one of the most popular and successful golfers in history. He held the number one spot in the World Golf Ranking for many weeks throughout his career, his playing style earning him the nickname “The Great White Shark”.

Course Features 

Ranked as one of Mexico’s top courses by Golf Digest, El Camaleón has hosted several prominent players competing in the LIV Golf League. The course highlights elements of the tropical jungle and mangroves, with its holes set amidst white sand, creating a visually striking effect with the surrounding vegetation and the Caribbean Sea.

Major Events at Mayakoba 

Mayakoba has hosted several high-level events, including the annual PGA Tour tournament featuring golfers from around the world. 

This professional 18-hole golf course offers spectacular views and accommodates golfers of all levels, with five tee markers on each hole. The first tee time is at 7:00 AM. Twilight begins at 12 PM.
