Since 2009, this animal shelter has been rescuing pets on Island that have been abandoned or are in dire situations. Once they have received care and gotten better, the Refugio helps loving families to adopt the pets. While they wait, you can take them for all the walks you want.
Besides caring for vulnerable creatures and teaching the community about caring for them responsibly, they carry out activities to educate about environmental issues and respecting life.
