The Magical Town of Loreto is known as one of the best places in the world to practice sport fishing. During the year it hosts various fishing tournaments that are attended by both professionals and amateurs within the sport.
In July, the Dorado International Fishing Tournament takes place; in September is the Copa Dorado State Tournament; and in May there is the Copa Gobernador Fishing Tournament.
