Our Lord of the Ascension Festival

For over 70 years, the Our Lord of the Ascension Festival has been celebrating the identity of the towns of Puente de Ixtla and Jojutla. Year after year, the activities are held in Tequesquitengo’s main square: there’s a water ski show, community food, and a carnival with dancing chinelo groups.
