Celebrated the day before Christmas Eve, this festival known in Spanish as Noche de Rábanos is centered around displaying radish figures created by local artisans. There is everything from Virgins to nativity scenes to moments from everyday life. The next day is Calendas, parades with floats accompanied by music, colorful lanterns, and whistles. It’s quite impressive.
