León Marathon

León’s marathon is one of the Bajío region’s most important sporting events, organized by the Comisión Municipal de Cultura Física y Deporte de León (León’s Municipal Commission on Physical Culture and Sports). More than 5,000 runners from a number of states in Mexico and abroad participate in the Maratón de León, which encompasses 10K, half marathon, and marathon races.
