San Quintín Volcanic Challenge

Participants of this challenge, consisting of a foot race around the Bahía de San Quintín, are assured of an incredible view of extinct volcanos and the warm waters of the Pacific during the event. There are three categories: 1.8, 3.7 or 15.5 miles across rocky or sandy trails.

At the end, a delicious caldo siete mares (“seven seas soup”) prepared with oysters, clams and fresh regional seafood is served. Reto Volcánico San Quintín is an event in March promising a lovely atmosphere and tasty local food, as well as an athletic challenge.
