During the November holidays two tournaments are held in the state of Oaxaca. The Torneo Internacional de Surf (International Surfing Tournament) in Zicatela attracts competitors from all over the world, and more than 100 vessels take part in the Torneo Internacional de Pesca de Pez Vela (International Sailfish Fishing Tournament).
