- The canyons are filled with subterranean rivers, caves, natural waterslides, pools, waterfalls, and zip lines.
- They are tucked inside Parque Nacional Cumbres de Monterrey, which covers a little more than 177,000 hectares. This makes it one of the country’s largest nature reserves. It produces about 70% of Monterrey’s water.
