There are places like Rancho El Charro and Rancho Ojo de Agua where you can hop on a horse and ride around the surrounding areas. On the trail, you’ll have the chance to check out the plant and animal life. We recommend you head to Colomitos, located in the southwest of Puerto Vallarta, it’s a small beach with soft, light sand, where you can trek through an ecosystem of palm, ficus, and frangipani trees, go swimming, kayak, snorkel, or scuba dive.
