You will find the Casa de la Cultura on the main road, it’s an elegant building that was erected around two hundred years ago. Temporary exhibitions and different cultural workshops are offered here.
On this same section of Calle Hidalgo, you can enjoy the charm of Coahuila’s old vernacular architecture: one-story houses, with 10 or 13-foot-high ceilings to keep them cool; adobe and plaster walls; barred windows, and gates with sturdy wooden doors.
