Visit Casa de las Artesanías and the Museo de la Cultura Tarahumara

- Phone number Call
What was once an old train station now holds the Museo de la Cultura Tarahumara. It offers an overview of local history and Rarámuri customs, as well as the state’s incredible range of handicrafts: pottery, woodcarving, textiles, leatherwork, and basketry.
This is also home to a shop selling items from Rarámuri culture: wooden objects (masks, musical instruments), palm-frond creations (traditional woven goods), and textiles (traditional clothing, bags, table linens), necklaces, and bracelets. We suggest the ragdolls wearing traditional Rarámuri attire.
