Every year the grey whale swims from Alaska and the Bering Strait in search of warmer waters where they can give birth to their offspring. This takes place during the first three months of the year. If you are in La Paz, we recommend you go to Bahía Magdalena, since this is the closest place to the city where you can see the whales up close.
