Visit La Fortaleza Museum

Another way to learn more about tequila is visiting this recently remodeled museum, located in the La Fortaleza distillery. It is the only place that makes tequila in a completely artisanal way, using a large tahona millstone to crush the agave. Guided visits are available, as well as a boutique selling handicrafts from around the country.
