The Poliforum León project began on December 9th 2000, and it is thanks to this place that León is now defined by its broad and high-quality offerings in the world of business, culture, and art. Inside you will find three large areas: one for culture, one for business, and another for recreational activities. Here you can find museums, an auditorium, a theater and much more, such as the Centro de Ciencias Parque Explora, the Fórum Cultural Guanajuato, the Museo de Arte e Historia de Guanajuato (MAHG), la Calzada de las Artes, the Auditorio Mateo Herrera, the Biblioteca Central Estatal Wigberto Jiménez Moreno, the Auditorio Jorge Ibargüengoitia and the Teatro del Bicentenario.
