San Juan Ernesto Pugibet Market

Mercado-San-Juan-gastronomia-CDMX

Close to the Salto de Agua subway station lies one of the capital’s most interesting food markets. You can find exotic meats such as armadillo, iguana, skunk, and buffalo. Plus, there are fishmongers selling eels, manta rays, and some species from China. Its aisles proffer cheeses from around the world, a variety of vegetables, and pre-Hispanic food.

To top off your visit, we recommend sampling tapas at Tapas de San Juan or sipping a coffee in Triana Café Gourmet.
