Sayulita’s Beaches
Practice extreme sports on its popular waves, become part of the beautiful landscape.
The southern beaches are ideal for beginner surfers, whereas the northern ones are appropriate for all levels. You can also go swimming, kayaking, fishing, walking, horseback riding or snorkeling. You can’t miss Playa de los Muertos, to get there you have to cross the cemetery; here you will find a lovely beach with clean, soft sand that is perfect for enjoying moments in the shade of the palm trees. Mal Paso usually has very few people on it so is a good option if you are looking for privacy. Lo de Marcos, 11 miles away, is one of the quietest in the area. We also recommend you visit Kestos and Patzcuarito.
Useful Information
From November to April you can spot humpback whales, these cetaceans arrive here to give birth to their offspring.
