Casa Borda

Commissioned by José de la Borda, as was the church of Santa Prisca, this is one of Taxco’s most emblematic buildings, since it is considered to be one of the most famous examples of Churrigueresque baroque art from New Spain. Today it is the town’s cultural center. Its balconies face out towards the main square, and its halls and interior patios are usually home to art exhibitions or shows which are always a must-see.
