Metropolitan Cathedral of Guadalajara

Catedral Metropolitana de Guadalajara

The city’s metropolitan cathedral was built in 1561 by the architect Martín Casillas. It’s one of the most emblematic spots in the state. The two towers were rebuilt in the 19th century after the original ones fell in the 1818 earthquake. The cathedral’s interior features the largest organ in all of Mexico.
