Activities at Cenote La Orquídea will lead you on an exciting adventure and connect you with the magic of places that once witnessed Mayan ancestors. It is located on the Cenote Route, at kilometer 22, on the road between Puerto Morelos and Leona Vicario, in Quintana Roo, Mexico.

Sacred Places 

Known as Dz’onot in the Mayan language, these places were believed to be the gateway to Xibalbá, the underworld and home of the dead. They are epicenters of energy where rituals of supplication and gratitude to the gods continue. 

Quintana Roo has over 2,500 cenotes and 407 flooded caves, though not all of them are open to the public. Those that are provide beautiful natural settings luring adventure seekers.
